Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways is not only one of the world’s leading airlines but also a major player in global sports sponsorship. For the 2026 FIFA World Cup, they wanted to build excitement around the one-year countdown to the tournament, while also evoking memories of the 2022 event.

I developed the concept of Qatar Airways serving as the official carrier of the World Cup trophy. With one year to go, the story centered around transporting the iconic trophy to its new home in New York, symbolizing the handover to the United States.

It was a challenging brief—balancing the brand narrative with FIFA’s strict approval process—but we were thrilled with the outcome. Working with a lean team, a limited budget, and incorporating AI in post-production, we managed to deliver a compelling and impactful story.
